Why basement waterproofing has never been easier

A new BBA-certified membrane system is providing specifiers with a hydro-reactive and self-healing method of protecting underground structures

In association with

Manufacturer Delta Membrane Systems has launched a new Type A BBA-certified pre and post-applied waterproofing membrane system.

Delta Amphibia is a fully bonded multi-layer system with a reactive core that is hydro-reactive and self-healing.

It can be applied on vertical and horizontal areas of new construction.

The Delta Amphibia membrane is composed of three layers:

  • Tight Barrier A watertight layer.
  • Core Self-sealing and self-repairing expansive safety layer - even in the event of puncture.
  • Active Barrier Hydro-reactive layer with controlled expansion - prevents side water seepage and seals the overlaps.
  • Delta Amphibia Type A waterproofing membrane: an ideal solution for the protection of underground structures.

The presence of varying water tables means basements and below ground structures are exposed to aggressive ground conditions, including contamination and stress.

They require a  durable, dependable and high-performing waterproofing solution.

From residential to commercial projects, Delta Amphibia is suitable for all ground floor and basement construction.

This includes lift pits, raft foundations, open basement excavation, sealing on internal formworks, construction joints, sheet piles, micropiles and service penetrations.
