Duration Windows, one of the original manufacturers of steel-look windows and doors, has expanded its Heritage Range to allow architects to create a signature classic design throughout a residential home or commercial premises.

The external range includes a choice of windows with different opening types together with bi-fold and French door designs. Thanks to its high security, thermal efficiency and cost - it comes at a fraction of the price of steel - it is one of Duration's most popular products.

Duration has recently designed a brand new 25mm thermally broken transom in horizontal or vertical astragal bars to create the slimmest sightlines and the most authentic, timeless appearance.

Heritage Range products can be fabricated to suit almost any period property and can be specified for a wide range of applications, including domestic and commercial new-build, renovation and refurbishment projects. It is often specified for listed properties and projects in conservation areas in order to retain the character and integrity of buildings.

They are made to measure, come in variety of glass finishes and are available in over 200 RAL colour options.

The Heritage Range of steel-look aluminium windows and doors also includes a new internal screen system.

The system comes in a wide range of product configurations (see slideshow, above), including single and double doors with or without sidelights and a fixed screen and sliding door option.

Specifiers can use the screens to create room dividers or corridors within offices, meeting rooms or simply as internal doors on residential projects.

Designed with sleek and elegant lines to complement Duration's external window and door range, the screens ensure a seamless transition through a home, commercial or office space.
