When it comes to improving the energy efficiency of heritage buildings, Historic England advocates an holistic approach that aims to maintain a comfortable indoor environment while preserving the building's historic significance.

The Rooflight Co invites architects to explore this concept further through its new CPD seminar, Conservation Rooflights in Context. This seminar will offer valuable guidance on how the right top lighting solution can optimise honouring heritage architecture and align with modern Building Regulation standards.

The one-hour programme is tailored to professionals who are passionate about balancing modern innovation with authentic aesthetics. The interactive session is geared towards two elements of the RIBA Core Curriculum: 'Building Conservation and Heritage' and 'Design, Construction and Technology', with participants earning two CPD points and RIBA-approved certificates.

The seminar aims to deepen understanding of the history of natural top lighting, regulatory compliance for heritage properties and innovative applications for occupant wellbeing. Join online, in person at The Rooflight Co's Manufacturing Studio in Bourton-on-the-Water, Gloucestershire or arrange for their experienced team to visit your practice.

The Rooflight Co believes that every project is personal. The team of CPD providers have technical design experience and are on hand after the session to discuss specific projects and to support architects achieve their vision.
