Vinyl flooring specialist Polyflor’s Expona SimpLay PUR range of loose lay luxury vinyl tiles is the latest addition to the Expona family of premium vinyl floorcoverings.

The Expona SimpLay collection of loose lay vinyl tiles and planks for heavy commercial interiors offers reproductions of beautiful natural materials as an adhesive-free, ready to lay product. The new range includes 38 stunning designs featuring a variety of traditional and contemporary wood, stone and textile effects.

Expona SimpLay’s unique, non-skid honeycomb backing layer and thicker 5mm gauge ensures the tiles stay in position to create a robust floorcovering for high traffic, heavy commercial environments. As a loose lay product it can be installed over many different types of floorcoverings, significantly reducing subfloor preparation. Each plank or tile can also be lifted and reinstalled elsewhere without leaving any residue.

‘We see Expona SimpLay as a practical choice when deadlines are tight and clients require a quick turnaround,’ says Tom Rollo, Polyflor’s marketing manager. ‘As an adhesive-free loose lay LVT, this product is also ideal for creating temporary installations such as pop-up shops and exhibition spaces.’

The high performance Expona range also includes Expona Design and Expona Commercial luxury vinyl tiles, Expona Control – the world’s first LVT featuring sustainable wet slip resistance – and Expona Flow vinyl sheet flooring. Like other Expona products, this highly durable loose lay floorcovering is enhanced with Polyflor PUR, Polyflor’s exclusive and robust polyurethane reinforcement which is cross linked and UV cured to protect the floor and reduce ongoing maintenance costs.
