Steven Plimmer director of marketing, RIBA

Steven has overall responsibility for marketing RIBA’s portfolio of print, digital and live media, advertising, recruitment, business and financial services products, including RIBA Journal. During his marketing career he has worked for several membership organisations on products including events and conferences, training, book publishing and retail and the development of digital platforms and websites across the technology, housing and architecture sectors.


Leona Tomeckova, marketing executive, RIBA Products and Services

Leona moved to London from the Czech Republic in 2012 during her studies while studying marketing and advertising for small businesses at the University of Ostrava. During her marketing career, she has worked as a marketing coordinator for live events and graduations. Leona joined RIBA in 2022 to support the products and services portfolios including RIBA Journal as well as RIBA Publishing, RIBA Business, RIBA Venues, RIBA Digital Contracts and RIBA job board. She loves to work with product teams on projects and be part of such a highly valued organisation such as the RIBA.
