Richard Tomlin head of sponsorship and sales, RIBA

Richard started his career in media sales as a graduate at EMAP and has since clocked up over 20 years of publishing experience. He has been at the RIBA Journal for nearly 10 years and oversees all advertising and branded content sales in the magazines and on ribaj.com, and looks after sponsored special projects and corporate sponsorship sales including RIBA awards, RIBA Core CPD events, RIBA conferences/events and RIBA exhibitions.


 

John Ward account manager, London and South

Originally from Leeds, John moved to London in 2011 to work for Classical Music magazine. He was there for five years before stepping into the world of digital publisher events with Haymarket Media as part of the Campaign magazine team.  John was delighted to join the RIBA in early 2018 and loves working in such an important and respected organisation.


 

Sunil Shah account manager, Midlands and North

Sunil has over 20 years media sales experience working for large national publishing groups including Reach PLC, JPI Media, Reed Business Information and Mark Allen Group across property, social care and recruitment on titles including The Yorkshire Post, Fish4 Jobs and Community Care. He is based in Cullingworth, West Yorkshire, in the spectacular foothills of the south Pennines.


 

Charlotte Collins advertising & digital support  

Charlotte has a BA in film and a background in photography, production and PR. After a year in the outback running her travel website, and some time photographing sharks in London, she moved to the RIBA Journal to assist on ribaj.com, ensure order on the sales desk and get out for the occasional photo shoot.
