Activity: Ideas for the future of the Clock Tower area
Ethan designed a masterplan for the clock tower in Market Road, Islington. The park that surrounds the tower today would be transformed with a complex mixture of activities. We find a maze, cinema, race track, splash zone, nature trail, marble path, cafe, library and gift shop. On one side he has designed a watch tower to look at the stars, on the other a gigantic slide, and in the middle he has placed a skyscraper for people to live in. Any time that I look at this drawing I see Aldo Rossi's St Cataldo cemetery plans.
