The houses at Hope Homes' Chapelton residential development in Seamill, West Kilbride are inspired by Scottish domestic architecture of the 17th to mid-19th centuries.

A key element of the project, which completed in 2019, was the window specification: the majority of the 120 two, three, four and five-bedroom affordable and private ownership houses feature Victorian Sliders’ ECOSlide PVCu sash windows.

'The windows balance the traditional aesthetics we were looking for with 21st century performance,' says Hope Homes director Anne Hope, 'and Victorian Sliders were able to supply us with high volumes at a consistently high quality.'

ECOSlide windows feature multi-chambered profiles, advanced glazing options and robust weather seals, significantly reducing heat transfer and helping Hope Homes achieve its sustainability goals.

This also means lower energy bills for Chapelton’s residents (important given the exposed coastal location) who will be enjoying life in their new homes for decades to come.
